State of Oregon hunting information

There is no need to go any further to find information on the 2004-2005 Oregon hunting season.  This page is loaded with links as well as vital facts and figures you need to know to have a fun and successful hunt in Oregon. 

Elk are widespread throughout all of Oregon, though two areas in particular contain the largest concentrations.  The northwest coast supports the state's  Roosevelt elk population and the Wallowa and Blue mountains in the northeast contains the Rocky Mountain elk.  There are between 20,000 and 25,000 elk harvested during any given season with a success rate that averages about 18 percent.
